THE ROAD
SYNOPSIS
Like many people from former Yugoslavia, Slavko emigrated abroad many years ago to seek a better life. The time spent far from his homeland distanced him from his family and friends. Facing a severe illness, Slavko feels the need for redemption. He comes to Montenegro and passes a one-day journey in a difficult physical condition, gathering the courage to meet with his son, a silent boy who takes care of himself and his grandmother with the help of his neighbor. Why do people decide to do important things when they have the least time? Is the fear of death a necessary trigger that seeks and offers redemption?
